Yuks from RB: How many posters does it take to change a light bulb? 1 to change the bulb and to post to the message board that it has been changed. 14 to share similar experiences of changing bulbs and how it could have been changed differently or more efficiently. 7 to caution about the dangers of changing bulbs. 27 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts. 53 to flame the spell checkers. 156 to write to the board and complain about bulb discussion and its inappropriatemess to this board. 41 to correct spelling the spelling/grammar flames. 109 to post that this boad is not about bulbs and to take this discussion to a more appropriate location. 306 to debate which method of changing bulbs is superior. 102 to flame those whose techinques differ from their own. 204 to flame the flamers claiming that "we are all entitled to our own opinions. 193 to post that they are "offended by posters who seem to gleefully slam others favorite brands of llight bulbs. 99 to post urgent messages begging everyone to be peaceful and respectful. 27 to post URLs where one can see examples of different bulbs. 14 to post that the URLs were incorrect. 12 to post to the board that they are quitting because they cannot handle the lite bulb controversy. 19 to complain that their post disappeared. 1 to propose new lite bulb message board for those who want to continue this discussion. 47 to say that this is just what this board was meant for, leave discussion here. 4 to post that they are new and would like some background info on the lite bulb brouhaha. 409 to to protest PLEASE STOP THE MADNESS. 1048 to post promises to drop the lite bulb debate.

Katie, That was an interesting article. The New Rules of OTC have certainly "thinned the ranks" and that might be good for investors seeking companies that really do have the potential to accomplish some good growth. Perhaps it will make the OTC market a better place to find legitimate small companies. We have all probably been caught in our share of scams and the OTC has had many. (That's not to say that scams will cease, but maybe they will at least be reduced in number.) Hopefully, the "thinned ranks" will be more rewarding for legitimate investors that do the research and are able to buy, hold and reap huge gains without tearing their hair out and losing sleep. Maybe OTC can become a form of true investing rather than just being a legalized casino. At least if a company is currently reporting, we have more information to go on and the company usually answers the phone (instead of those notorious "runners" whose phone has been disconnected). MY INVESTMENT STRATEGY in OTC: Careful research... Calculated speculation... Be selective... Go long and add shares as company grows... Continue Follow-up research... Look for huge returns in the 10-50 bagger range... Trade less... Continue Follow-up research... Never buy due to greed, Never sell due to fear... Continue Follow-up research... Target sells at a 10-50 bagger or better (depending)... And be able to sleep nights... $$$$$$$ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz
