But PLUG looked like a dead fish to me, certainly after the pres admitted the company didn't even have the dough to manufacture the fuel cells that were supposed to bring it a profit in 2004! It also looked as if the fuel cell investing frenzy in general had pretty much fizzled out. I just ran my list of 100 no-earnings cash-burning companies past Yahoo today, to see how they are performing today. When I turned them up on a screen several weeks ago, all but four were in a downtrend, and had fallen either to or close to their 52-week lows. Today, all but five are up -- most are WAY up. What a world.
