The wife and I are going to open us up our own account.
I am thinking of ABW but I don't like their accounting.
I am thinking of going to Schwab but I know how much you hate it and the wife doesn't want me to either.

With ABW if you hold a position over night you cannot sell that stock the next day and then use that money. You have to wait until the following day for the trade to clear the account before you can use those funds. I don't like that at all.

Jorjie. Good point about ML website. The have made big improvement just in last couple of months. Which one are you using, the new MLDIRECT.COM is better than the old MLOL.ML.COM, which is being phased out. Anyway, I just found the options chains yesterday on MLDIRECT. On the main bar choose research. When that page comes up, there is a main horizontal bar across the top, and a sort of subbar under it. Choose stocks. You'll then get a pulldown menu on the right side. One of those choices is options chains. I'm finding there is lots of stuff on here that I never knew existed.
