The problem with ROS/MOS

(IMHO).
Make it the same price as a CD, say $15 or so, who would buy one when you can get a re-recordable device for a similar price?
Make it dirt cheap, say $5 or less, and who is going to buy CD's at tripe the price?

Either way the music industry is in a bind, which IMHO will end up being translatable into millions of memory cards being used to store music that is either downloaded in some secure fashion, at low cost, or is home recorded at no cost.
Either way, I see a lot of the $'s currently being used by consumers to fund CD's going into solid state memory imstead!
