The shares of Safeguard Scientifics Inc. fell 3 percent after the company said it will shift its investments to Internet development companies from business-to-business ventures. This was an interpretation by a journalist. SFE did not say that and in fact, the CEO did an interview explaining their broadening into other areas. I recommend reading the actual press release from the company and not an interpretation from an ignorant journalist. You may then interpret the press release yourself and not have a journalist do the thinking for you.
