Ten, Thanks for the note. re: "Didn't that guy just upgrade AMD, despite his fears of a price war?" Yes he did. It seems to me a price war would create more problems for AMD than Intel. And thanks for the info on 1 GHz. The markets are expecting a good quarter, I hope they are right. John

RE: "PB's a manager now, and he's made a personal decision to stop posting on a regular basis" Hi Tenchusatsu, glad to hear Process Boy has been promoted, but sorry to hear he's decided to reduce his postings because he's a manager. I don't quite see the connection, since, being a manager generally yields more freedom (depending upon the company). Although, it does lend itself to more discretion. Hope to see him re-enter as his posts and jokes are very much missed. Amy J
