Thread- As a follow up to my previous post, TLAB just stated in today's Q1 2000 CC that 50% of Cablespan is overseas. It leads creedence to the UPC connection.

Also they were DIRECTLY asked when TLAB plans on dumping AFCI as a supplier? TLAB responded that they pretty much don't plan on doing this. AFCI offers attractive pricing and TLAB does manufacture their own version of what AFCI offers, but TLAB pays royalties for it. Not much for TLAB to gain by ending the relationship, but they do think about it.

On the downside, I believe I heard that TLAB gained $20 million in Q1 net due to the sales of AFCI stock. Not sure how to read this. Maybe TLAB is playing the market, or maybe they do plan on reducing their dependency on AFCI. I don't know? -MikeM(From Florida)
