I find that it's useful to keep in mind what the company says. Regarding sales - most are direct sales currently. Goldman also specifically noted that up to now, most partners have been those with technology that helped to develop the B2B products. He stated that their partnering focus was now shifted outwards. I think this indicates that they would now look for more consulting type of partners that would increase sales. He also specifically mentioned trading hubs, etc. Last point - he also noted that while they were talking to alot of marketplaces, many of these are start-ups looking for EXLN to provide the financing. He didn't sound as if he viewed this as a desirable option.

As regards earnings. It appears some have an expectation of positive earnings. Once again, I find it useful to consider what the companies guidance is. No earnings for 2000. Flatish revenue for Q2 but they would endorse some upside for the forecast B2B rev of $3.4M in Q2.

While EXLN could trade up on general positive sentiment for the XML companies or on news of an especially significant partnership or contract - lack of earnings will could very well hold the stock down for most of the year. Rich

Grace,
I think the current reseller agreement with Data Junction is good move to plug one of the holes in EXLN portfolio.
Some of the EAI platform vendors have or integrated such a stuff into their offerings as it is a must to have if
they have to convert/absorb data from legacy systems.
All the B2B integration (hype) actually starts with product similar to Data Junction. Of course Data Junction is not a prerequisite if the apps can talk at a higher level.
Based on my exposure Data Junction is a very good product.
It (Data Junction) has limited scope unless they partner with some one bigger or be fused into some higher level
products from companies like EXLN.
