Greg, what's your take on today's QCOM action? Do you think the market "knows" something about the upcoming earnings report?

Well, on a % basis, bigger name tech stocks (which led yesterday's rally) not participating in today's rally to the same degree as other techs. Just look at QQQ which is up about 2.3%, while the NAZ composite is up over 6%.

FACTBOX - Largest Nasdaq composite gains

NEW YORK, April 18 (Reuters) - The Nasdaq composite index (^IXIC - news) soared over 254 points on Tuesday, the largest point gain in its nearly 30-year history. The composite finished at 3,793.51, up 254.35.

In percentage terms, the gain of 7.19 percent was the second largest in the market's history.

The following are the biggest increases in the composite index, according to the Nasdaq.
