Neil,

I haven't seen anything except some twit that downgraded from a strong buy to a buy. I am watching TXN and it is acting the same way after earnings. Remember awhile back that BOA downgraded VTSS the week before it took off to $115. I'm not saying that is going to happen again, but with no explanation I will hold on.

I would have to say no. Most everything in the CC was positive, and uncharacteristically revealing. I've been listening to these calls for five+ Qs now, and Tomasetta never seems so upfront and willing to disclose info. For instance, the comments about Sycamore and Extreme Networks were welcomed as AMCC apparently has a psychological edge over Vitesse in the "smart startup" category of customers. An immediate breakdown between telecom and datacom was unexpected (supposedly this feature would no longer we used as both are converging and less discernable now).

The traditional 10-15% TCOM, 20-25% DCOM QoQ growth can persist, but with the added bonus of processing/switching (thansk to purchases of VTEK, XaQti, Orologic) lines in a few Qs, sequential revenue growth will begin to exceed 15% during 2001 IMO.
