Benkea I am not so sure of that,(short covering) personally I was long into the weekend but hedged, IMHO is has more to do with option expiration and the usual gang of thieves and swindler manipulating the market.

The stock market had no real justification for the gyration since April 4th I read it as a gross act of orchestrated manipulation. (remember it was insulated from oil at $34)

Such strong V movements are not natural at all and I do not buy the excuse that the information age has changed perception.

Phsychology and perception are the ingredients who drive the markets and human nature has not changed. It takes time to readjust to a new situation.

we accomplished five waves down to the august lows on many of the internet stocks in a few weeks, from last april top if took 4 months, yep crash and all the margined players were washed out at the bottom.
