Investors are just beginning to appreciate just how undervalued AMD is...TXN at $0.55 is trading at $145...Intel at $0.69 (we all hope, except panic mob) and trading at $128...AMD at $1.15 and trading at $78...You can go right across the board in ths industry and you'll find the same major discrepancy between AMD's P/E and all others...I heard Battaglia on CNN this morning suggesting that Cisco's P/E which equals 3 times growth rate is OK...By this yardstick, AMD's P/E should be about 150 and based upon Y2000 earnings of $5.00 provides a price of $750...My point here is not to suggest AMD is in the same league as Cisco (not yet anyway) but to provide yet another of many, many yardsticks that suggest AMD at $78 is way, way undervalued...(Just talked myself into buying some more January calls I think)
