The problems with the new carriers is that if they get one good sized customer, they end up at capacity within 3 months. Worldcom is currently the best for fiber access and long hauls (based on network coverage).

Worldcom is actually a pretty good company overall from the telecom perspective, but the old motto for the employee was "great stock but sucks to work there." Now it is "shitty stock and it sucks to work there."
