re: Do you think QCOM's numbers are good enough to lift it back into an uptrend?

I was amazed at the benefit of the doubt QCOM had last year, it was always the promise, or the spilt, but last qr. reality set in somewhat where rev. and earnings matter only in the contents of ASIC sales. They said that they saw a slow down, they had a slow down. This qr. the said inventories were inline now, and they saw a increase in sales of ASICs, but then they went on to say they saw earning as expected or as estimated if you will, the expected earnings was hardly any higher then this qr. but the forward statement of a robust looking market for their ASIC caused the stock to shoot higher in AH. So does this mean the cloud as been lifted? And earnings still don't matter that much and QCOM will start to trade on the promise again? I have no idea. I stand by my statement that QCOM will not be making a high this year, and the story needs to be better defined. that's my story and I'm sticking to it. <g>
