Yeah...looks like we were both kindof right today...more right than wrong, at least <G>...

Saw Ralph Bloch, technical guy at Raymond James, on the tube....thought for sure he would be POed that we have come up so strong in the last couple days...and he would say that the correction isnt over, and that we need to retest..too much technical damage, blah, blah....

To my surprise, he quoted the following "statistic": Only 13 times in market history, has the TRIN gone from above 4.00 (market on Friday) to better than .5 (market Monday)....ie...from extremely oversold....to extremely bullish.....in all 13 cases...either (1) a small pullback, followed by a powerful rally ensued...or (2) the market did the powerful rally (without stopping/no pullback)..

So, apparently, he told his clients that the odds of a retest have dimished markedly...or even if we would retest, we would get a super-duper powerful rally out of that...

For what its worth...Ralph did a nice job calling the recent top....

BTW- Whadda think about LHSP? VIGN? NEON?

Final thought: I am beginning to think that where all the technicians will be proven wrong on this.....is....that what happened was not a "bear" market....but a severe correction accentuated by the steriods of margin/tax selling (bad internet cos....yes, they are in a bear)...

Many technical guys are operating under the assumption that since we just had a "bear market"....that the market has to be lame (for many months)...in order to have a classic basing/strengthening/rally....my counter is....(perhaps optimistically)..that we just saw a correction....so immediate strength will be not a problem (is allowable)...because the technical damage is not as great (as in a bear)..

I would still be happier if we chopped around here soon....

We'll know soon enough who's right..Le temps fait beau ici..
