WB,

You wrote...

I think the direction CyberCorp should go to attract more business (not just customers, but other business
interests) would be to acknowledge that what they have is more of an trade execution "engine."

Excellent point. I've got a small scanning system that is based on Quote.com's QFeed. I'd love to be able to access their execution engine directly. Since I have Level II access in QFeed, I could automatically choose the best order routing based on a series of factors (spread, size of the inside bid/ask versus my preferred size, activity at the bid/ask, etc.) Heck, they even have a demo mode that is perfect for testing the software.

V1.6 of CyberX is a pretty good product, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

Regards,

Dan.

WB - I guess we do disagree about CybeX 1.6

Obviously, I am not looking for perfection (or more precisely, I don't expect to find it<ggg>).

However, I don't find the UI improvements, but do miss the features present in earlier versions.

As to the "engine" idea - I like that a lot!

My ultimate hope is that Cyber continues to improve their software, despite the occassional set-backs, though sometimes it doesn't seem fast enough.

WryBoy,

They should create software, e.g. an NT service or other such server component (i.e. a DLL with no user interface), and then license their APIs to that server software so that software developers can create their own user
interfaces which use their execution engine.

Thank your for your post. We appreciate your input and will give careful consideration to your suggestions in an effort to provide our customers with the best tools and service. Please let us know if we can help in any way.

Sincerely,
