re the "oil promissory notes" - they don't matter any more. They were collateral for the $100 mill stock deal, which has been cancelled.

Not necessarily. Recall the line in the LFT contract stating that "LFT shall also have the limited right to substitute assets other than cash or marketable securities, if such substituted asset has an insurable value at least equal to the Asset..." It all depends on whether LFT offers the oil notes and whether HITT thinks they have any value (real or imagined ;^)).

re. <<my [first amendment protected] opinion that Jeanette and Dorian planned this together from the very beginning.>>

"What?" the believer demanded, in an indignant grunt.

"That's right, said Mezz carefully, using the clipped notes of somebody tip-toeing around with his constitutionally-guaranteed free speech.

"You mean you think that the convicted criminal fraud artist planned something with the accused HYIP scam artist? No way," the believer declared, full of righteousness.

Then, after a thoughtful pause, the believer huffed, "It's just all the fault of you cyberbashers."
