Inktomi, here is one to think about. I have held on to this thru the carnage. It went into the black today, and beat whiper by 3 cents.
"Inktomi Q Analysis

In a word, outstanding!

Revenue growth looks very impressive. Going back 4 quarters: 14.6M, 19.6M, 26.2M, 36.1M, and now 47.3M. That's an average of 35%+ quarter over quarter growth. Plotting these numbers on the chart show what a gem Inktomi is.

Analysts were expecting revenue for this quarter to be around 39.0M+/-. So by almost every measure, Inktomi has suprassed expectations.

Search inquiries up and still looking strong. Commerce engine in refinement stage, but improving tremendously with more merchants. Cacheing definitely the bread and butter. Alliances with Sun, Exodus, Intel, etc. show why they are the king of caching. Wireless front most promising area. Imagine all of Inktomi portal and network services now delivered over the air. Their partners also show how this is a very substantial effort. Portal Software, Sun, Hewlett Packard, Cap Gemini, Air Flash, etc. I don't think these companies would just choose anybody.

Oh, and profitability is a nice touch.

All in all, this baby keeps on humming despite the market conditions. No wonder so many institutions own this.

Still heavily discounted and exceptionally attractive at these prices. Long term buy and hold."
