Have you guys listened to the conference call? Did you listen to the last one?

This time, there wasn't a single comment of "good quarter". There were no questions on the growth rate of the new businesses, in fact I think there was only one question about Intel's new ventures. All the questions had a negative tone, about the effect of competition, about execution, about how they couldn't ramp at the same time they change process. When you compare it to the last conference call, it was a big step backwards, IMO.

The other part that really bothered me was that they didn't handle it well. Intel is the 3rd or 4th largest market cap company in the world, it's time they became more professional in dealing with the investment community. Mary is correct.

If Intel were in a business with a bunch of capable competitors, I would probably sell the stock. As it is, they have an opportunity to get their business back on track with their marketplace.

I am disappointed, and I probably did overreact. I apologize.
