Repeated refrains of "dead money" don't add anything to the QCOM discussion, IMHO. False statements about earnings, revenues, or fundamentals add even less.

Peter: I'm not leaving. I wouldn't even try to convince you the fundamentals have changed. I've just stepped aside, that's all. Will I kick myself for my decision - no way. It's a done deal. I will look to re-enter QCOM at more favorable prices if they ever come to be. Maybe that 98 low yesterday was it. Every investor has a different style and whatever makes you money, just go for it. I made over 7 figures on QCOM in one year. Not bad. Just took my chips and cashed in. Also cashed in on JDSU et al. Only holding 3 stocks right now. Am thinking about selling those into further rallies if they come to be. I'm looking to rebuild slowly new positions on other stocks with more favorable mid-market caps that have room to grow at a faster clip than large caps, although large caps have been the safe haven these past few days. Good luck to you.
