I have about 375 stocks in an internet composite. Today's rally in the nets now have 10% of the stocks above their 10-day moving averages, 1% above their 21-day and 50-day, and 14% above their 200-day moving averages. The progression in breadth has been: 10 21 50 200 1/16 0% 1% 0% 9% 1/17 1% 1% 0% 8% 1/18 10% 1% 1% 14% The 20-day new high/low breakouts are improving also: 1/16 0 highs 334 lows 1/17 0 highs 246 lows 1/18 0 highs 24 lows The broader market has improved similar mostly on the lows list from 2135 lows on Friday, 1420 on Monday, and 290 today (all 20-day lows).
