It appears to me that the K-6 III 500 would be a perfect candidate to use to overclock and upgrade a socket 7 desktop to around 550 or 600 if a cooling fan could be attached to this chip. Any idea if this will be feasible? if true, I can keep my ASUS P5A MB a while longer an use an easier/cheaper upgrade path.
