benkea, i agree, and thats why i said i remain a trader in this market and while i may sometimes go nutz and point to big targets on the upside or downside -g-

i was an investor until 1997, when everybody and his brother turned bullish, i wish now i had stayed an investor -g- oh well.

off the august lows on the internet index, did anybody believe we would see nasdaq 4000, yet even 5000.

there is no underestimating the power grip this market has on the american psyche and calling the absolute top will be tough, but right now there is a whole lot less risk in the market than 6 weeks ago.

so just watch the daily sticks at security trader.

Benkea, if you loaded up at the bottom, don't let 'em shake you off
with just a little 20% gain.

I loaded the boat when everyone was calling for
armegedon, and sold for 20%+ in like a day or two
only to see the big arse run of 1999 afterwards.
I'm such a crappy seller.

That is part of the plan.
First they talk the Dow up and the Naz down to a crash.
If you are smart enough to survive that 1st round, and
load the boat, get ready for round No2: They'll give you 20% easy profit.
You decide to hold instead: Round No3:
They'll keep your hot fliers marching in one stop
while some dogs go by fast. They want your shares
for pennies.
I say hang on and don't sell
They'll come around and buy from you at a higher price.

1, ?2 weeks ahead is a long time.

Hang in there. Patience and tenacity.

Remember: you haven't lost your profits till you sell,

:-)

( sorry if this obvious to everyone.
I had to write something today

:-)

Yup, the clowns were definetely massacred this go round.
However, how can we not have a retest? Is this bounce the
one that burns the bears? Who's this one going to take out?

PS. Monday buying was about the easiest sentiment no
brainer I've ever seen. That said, this drop was just so
darn steep that I don't see how we just cruise on up to
Dung 6K.

The only thing I'm afraid of is that I did this same thing
in Feb 99. I loaded the boat when everyone was calling for
armegedon, and sold for 20%+ in like a day or two only to
see the big arse run of 1999 afterwards. I'm such a crappy
seller.
