PATHETIC EARNINGS REPORT! Good Luck to all STILL???? in this stock. All I could see when I read it is more cost over-runs, more pushouts, more capital guzzling, and more share puking by Crowe. Stock is still down almost 40% from recent highs and was down over 50%--a classic bear market definition in any supply sider's manual. And I especially loved it when they said they were now 3 months ahead of schedule, when they were slated for completion originally by 4th Qtr, 1999 and here it is April 2000. Yeah, that comes in 3 months ahead according to my abacus. (Anyone know a good Abacus repair dude?) Somebody agrees with me out there who has bundles of this money pit stock and "out puked Crowe" when it came time to dump it. And 8.6 Billion in cash and 1500 new employees? I told this thread that they were sending out 37 men to do what 3 could do with walkie-talkies. Oh, and the BLM problem? The BLM problem is so bad, this Kiewit bunch has been ordered OFF BLM land and have to drill UNDER the BLM property to access what they've illegally buried...which is only adding to costs. Oh, and they sent out a D-9 Cat ysterday who spent 8 hours smoothing a 1/4 mile swathe through the property...wonder how long and how many manhours it will take to "hand seed" the right of way...BUT the fence is looking better ...on the north end...they haven't even gotten to the south side of the property yet...and at this rate...it will take them 6 weeks just to make the ground flat again. Lordy what a bunch of clumsy olafs! G'luck folks. I think I'd rather sink money into restoring a WWI tank with rusted out tracks with which to do my grocery shopping errands...I live in a tough neighborhood<g> Have a nice weekend.
