Infowave releases wireless enterprise products for Windows-powered Pocket PCs

GRAND CENTRAL STATION, NY, April 19 /CNW-PRN/ - Infowave Software, Inc. (TSE: IW - news) today announced that its wireless enterprise solutions provide wireless access to enterprise resources from the Pocket PC. Pocket PCs are next generation handheld devices and provide people on the go the freedom to manage their work and life wherever they are. International Data Corp. is predicting a steady growth for Windows CE-based devices over the next three years, growing to 40 percent of the market by 2003.

Infowave signs worldwide reseller agreement with Compaq
BURNABY, BC, May 8 /CNW-PRN/ - Infowave Software, Inc. (TSE: IW - news) today announced that it has signed an international reseller agreement with Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE: CPQ - news). Under the terms of the agreement, Compaq will resell, distribute and integrate Infowave's wireless enterprise software to its worldwide customer base. This agreement enables Compaq Services to deliver integration services for Infowave for Exchange and Infowave for the Net to customers.

This worldwide reseller agreement is Infowave's third major announcement with Compaq. Compaq recently selected Infowave for its elite Business Solutions for Exchange (BSE) program. As part of this program, Infowave has been selected to participate in Compaq's Exchange 2000 roadshow covering select cities worldwide.
