Good timing. I covered a bunch of shorts Monday and Tuesday too. But I also flipped the UOPIX I bought at Friday's close for a quick fat scalp. My guess is some sideways trading here for a while. Needles and pins? Nope, just making an observation based on some evidence after we ended up with dueling assumptions the other day. If the funds had faced a flood of redemptions they would not have been buying the past two days. Even the volatile fund that I co-manage had almost no redemptions at all; I figured we would lose 10-20% of our investors due to panic. Didn't happen. FWIW, I still have 13 small short positions open, all with stops. And the best of the bargain hunting is over on the long side. Good luck today.
