Winstar to Provide PS Business Parks With Advanced Broadband Telecommunications Services
Services Offered to Tenants in 153 PS Business Parks Buildings Throughout U.S.
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 24, 2000-- WINSTAR COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (NASDAQ: WCII) today announced that its advanced, high-speed communications capabilities will be made available, on a non-exclusive basis, in the buildings properties owned by PS Business Parks, Inc.(AMEX: PSB), a fully-integrated, self- managed real estate investment trust (REIT) based in Glendale, California.

Under the terms of the agreement, Winstar is permitted to offer its fixed wireless broadband communications services, including high-speed Internet and data, Web-based information and local and long distance services, to the 153 buildings in PS Business Park's (PSB) extensive portfolio. This portfolio consists of approximately 12.4 million net rentable square feet and currently serves more than 3,800 business tenants. PSB owns and operates buildings in such Winstar markets as Dallas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland and Washington, DC.
