I can see your point - but can you imagine Michelin saying that the new Mercedes looks kind of unstable, but we may develop tires for it later? Wouldn't that drive Daimler-Chrysler into a Teutonic rage?

I'm not sure about this "insult the partners you will need in the future" tactic. Maybe it's a new California management trend.

Nokia keeps its trap shut and works with its clients. I can relate to that.
