REVEALED: GOV DOC ADVISING ON ELIAN CASE IS LONGTIME CLINTON POLITICAL OPERATIVE!

The pediatrician advising the government to "rescue" Elian Gonzalez from his Miami relatives is a longtime Clinton/Gore political operative who has lobbied for a health care system in the United States that mirrors Cuba's!

Dr. Irwin Redlener is not a psychologist nor a psychiatrist but continues to render his "professional" opinion on behalf of the American government on television news programs.

In a letter given to Janet Reno Tuesday, Redlener writes:

"This child... continues to be horrendously exploited in this bizarre and destructive ambiance.

"The current environment and the production of the videotape last week reflect a profoundly disturbing and dangerous environment for this child."

Earlier on Tuesday Redlener appeared as an expert on numerous television news programs, including the TODAY SHOW:

"We think the child should be rescued from there," he told Matt Lauer.

Redlener, admittedly, has not met with the child nor his Miami relatives and is basing his opinion solely on the video of Elian saying that he does not want to go back to Cuba.

Pause.

But what Redlener -- and the media giving his voice the appearance of neutrality and authority -- has failed to divulge is that he was the chair of National Health Leadership Council for Clinton-Gore '92!

And from March through May, 1994 Redlener served on Hillary Clinton's White House Task Force on Health Reform.

Redlener is quoted in the NEW YORK TIMES in September, 1994 after Hillary's universal health care legislation failed:

"What I found was a person who was still incredibly committed to the big goals of fixing the health care system and getting to the point where she can again begin talking about universal coverage and access guaranteed to everybody."

Just like in Cuba.

Redlener later served as a "physician special consultant" to the White House. Redlener's name also surfaced during a deposition of Clinton aide Bruce Lindsey by congressional investigators looking into the botched White House Travel Office firings.

"Clinton operatives have their fingers all over this case," said a legal source close to Elian's Miami relatives. "From the president's impeachment lawyer, Greg Craig, to Hillary's Health Care Task force guru, Dr. Irwin Redlener."

The White House refused to comment late Tuesday if the first lady had any involvement placing Redlener on the Gonzalez case.

All statists whether communist or fascist, believe that is moral and proper to sacrifice an individual for the "greater good"

All statists believe that:

"To each according to his need, from each according to his ability."

Neither statist variety disputes the above statement and neither do you.

Do you know what the sad thing about all this really is? Wars get started because of idiots like some we see here on this board.

If left up to some on this board, we would send our children to fight and die in Cuba over nonsense. They have their own distorted views of the world and their is no amount of reasoning, no matter how well intended, which would persuade them of the stupidity of the situation.

Myself, as well as many others here have tried to understand their point of view. I could understand their hate for Castro and their hate for communism, but I still cannot justify the kidnapping of a child away from his father...I just can't.

I wish some of them would put their personal hate aside and look at the ludicrousness of the situation objectively.
