Interesting how the NAZ turned around while Jacobs was on CNBC. Any correlation?

QCOM CEO Jacobs, what he said:

- warned of chip stall last quarter, now rebounding strongly
- looking this year to wireless internet access being big
- looking to our move to new technology, like 1X
- expects 1X to be a major business area
- looking to new handset features, e.g. GPS, music download
- CDMA is high quality voice (wireline quality) which supports data
- China is exciting, moving slowly, but affected by external factors, e.g. WTO, Chinese politics
- Nokia: hoping they see value in using our chips, hope they come around

at beginning of interview, QCOM=119
at end of interview, QCOM=122-3/4

NAZ turned around, and I see QCOM leading
it helps when yday Q did not participate

Irwin's rug never looked better
he looked relaxed, confident, charming
afterwards, the talkingheads said he seemed like a guy you wanted to have over to your house
