ROTFLMAO!

When I used to work at HWP/Agilent in the semiconductor group, we'd make almost all new engineers take an in-house statistics course as that story occurred far too often!

Mich, thanks for the anecdote. :) "One-point Trending" [TM] is used daily in the financial media, as you know. A Forbes columnist devoted a whole column to expose the folly of it
a few months ago. I forget which columnist.
