Jim, there's a lot of factors that could influence DELL's stock price in May. DELL apparently reports May 11 and, as you know, the FOMC meets May 16 with the PPI data coming out May 12 and the CPI May 16. This Fed meeting will probably weigh on the market particularly if the economic reports, i.e. employment and purchase managers index, all point to growing inflation. Despite the fact that a 25 basis point increase is built in to prices the market is deathly afraid of 50 basis point increase.

More importantly, this Friday [or possibly earlier because of Good Friday]the IDC data comes out on PC's. If the data is strong for DELL the market will know by Monday morning. Anything over 6% sequential growth, or 3.550 million units, suggests an eps of approximately 18 cents vs consensus of 16 cents. This could move DELL's stock price to the $60 range in the near term. The upcoming economic data, however, could undermine DELL's price.

Regards, Gabriel
