telecomguy, The numbers that you should be looking at are the year over year numbers, especially considering that in the same quarter last year, there was an 800 million dollar China deal included that had been pushed from Q1 '99 and that this last quarter was forecast by LU to be only the beginning of the recovery from their mistakes. tp

tg, I get the feeling that you are grasping at straws today. I just looked at the NT financials over the last 2 years since NT recognizes revenue weighting similar to LU. In 4q 98, NT did 5.768 billion. In 3q 99, NT did 5.393 billion. That would look like significant negative revenue growth using your astute analysis. If you are going to do any comparisons, you need to look at YOY numbers. Again, you knew this....
