Kenith-
AMD pays no taxes to Uncle Sam. Intel does pay taxes to Uncle Sam. It is impossible for AMD to overpay taxes since they pay no taxes. Intel paid more taxes than they should have, so Uncle Sam OWED them a refund. Why are you having such a hard time understanding this?
