Teehee! Ah, you seem to have put your finger right on the soft spot, Lone Star. I don't have the SEMI member list here, so I don't know who in Europe could even attempt to build the requisite cluster tools and analytical gear. Certainly Zeiss and the like are playing in the analytical arena, with some success. There are bound to be small players with some neat technical gear, but no way to penetrate through the wall held up by the Gorillas. (This may explain why so many small companies around the globe are being glommed up by the Biggies. It's their way to get their technology into use! But that argues against local production, eh?) Oh, and AMAT builds its implanters in England, doesn't that count? <grin> Mitch
