KIS, I have sources within Intel who can CONFIRM that Tom's overclocked 440BX is not representative of real PC133 performance. The bottom line is that an overclocked 440BX is running the SDRAM so far out of spec that it will perform vastly better than any other system out there. Stability, however, will suffer. Tom claims his overclocked 440BX is "rock stable," but I'm sure his standards of stability is not the same as Intel's. One crash per week might be fine for Herr Uberclockermeister, but it's unacceptable for a production system coming out of Intel. (No, CAS2 will not help.)

By the way, I enjoy how you are calling me names, because it shows just how idiotic you really are. I am not interested in spreading lies, unlike President Pinnochio. I'm not a politician, and even if I were I'd make a lousy one. I'm an engineer, so I am interested in valid facts and in results.

If PC133 really does handily beat RDRAM like Tom Pabst claims, then Intel would drop RDRAM in a heartbeat. Trying to build a house of cards based on lies and deceit isn't a sound business strategy. Such tactics might work in politics, but not in the high-tech world.
