ot> she x & raven: Excellent! hee hee ...

How funny! And true for some of us ... I've attended two chili cook-offs in my years in TX ... as a transplant (sorry! Are you guys "natives" yourselves?)

Jalepenos are lethal fuel matter, has always been my reaction.

My speed is the famous Velveeta Cheese/RoTel Tomato queso, mostly because it's mild enough to actually eat (brought to us by the sponsors of those food products, real native Texans, no doubt(?)

LOL. I'm an "east of Mississippi River" wimp, no question. But I like Texans and Texas. And chili rellenos. Mild peppers.

I copied this post/saved in order to forward to other friends, relatives in TX and otherwise. Thanks!

Have you folks seen "The Snow Story?"

A Northern "tale" that I find as funny as this chili saga ...

Give me a moment and will post...ALTHOUGH, it's a bit profane...hope that's okay here.

Best to all,
"bonnuss in austin"
