lml: I have little interest in discourse where someone resorts to personal insult when he disagrees--esp. as to maters on which he might be wrong. FYI, my degree is in what was called AMS--Aerospace and Mechanical Sciences--i.e., rocket science, class of 1974. And yes, i practice law. And yes, I sometimes practice securities law, including a case before the SCOTUS. I stand by my prior note. The subsequent Cablelabs letter is in essence a retraction. And, Cablelabs makes clear that it is likely, but not certain, that TERN's sCDMA can be in a subsequent DOCSIS release. I will not bother saying you're stupid if you don't agree with me. And, you need not waste your time telling me how dumb I am; I have made peace with where I stand in the Hall of Nobel Laureates with whom I've the gift of acquaintance...
