Not just the Saudi's but the Kuwaiti's as well. What will happen to their delivery capability when they upgrade their fields using current technology? I'd rather not think about that at the moment. Hopefully I will be out of this industry by then as "disputes" could cause pumping and in turn crash the energy markets again.

From the standpoint of being an investor, I would LOVE it if Iraq caused a major energy shortage by cutting deliveries. Prices for energy would skyrocket and my holdings sell their energy products mostly unhedged. I would make a KILLING!

I disagree with your comment on spending. The foolish spenders either went into bankruptcy or worried about it a lot last year.
