yo, yaker: fresh- or saltwater? <g>

given you're on this board, i'd say you're prone to the former what with the whitewater river theme.

ever yak on the Amazon, Congo, Missouri or Nile?

how 'bout the Cuyahoga?

Sea of Japan?

in Trader Dave parlane, are you into DESIGNer sports? are you a WINner? i'm hearing that the Indus and Rhine are the current hot spots.

while Nortel will continue to drive us -- book-to-bill for new standard products is 3.0 -- i'm definitely encouraged by diversification outside of NT by the likes of Juniper, Marconi and Sycamore. (of course, it's often overlooked that AMCC sells into four NT divisions: Calgary for the Metrocell line, Montreal for ASICs, Europe, and essentially Bay Networks [via Cimaron design wins].)

fwiw, a little back o' the envelope.
