I can't argue, nor would I want to, with that.

I think men have a big problem with women they devote their resources to- how do they know she is faithful? How do they know her children are HIS? They don't. SO inhibit her sexually and maybe she won't wander- well that makes a little sense IF she was wandering for sexual pleasure. BUT new studies show she may be wandering for specific male characteristics. She may be wandering to the dangerous strong male for sex because she wants his progeny, while depending upon the more reliable and gentle male for support. And I think mutilating her genitals won't keep her from wandering for that reason. Now the people who thought up these mutilation rituals didn't have access to that kind of science- more's the pity.

Chastity belts really make more sense.
