Epinephrine,

<i.Niceguy predicts such things as that AMD will break $80 today despite the clear pressure that INTC and IBM were putting on AMD

In a rational world, Intel's production problems would be viewed as a huge plus for AMD. Niceguy make the mistake of expecting the world to be rational on a day to day basis. Longer term, the market does tend to be quite a bit more rational.

I have decided that I have neither the time nor the energy for the type of exchange that I had a few days ago. but I am still reading the thread with great interest.

E-,

It would be too bad if that means you will not post on a regular basis like before your exchange with niceguy.

I have stated my opinion and there is little use in rehashing it. It is apparent to me that most people seem to like hearing Niceguy's pontifications.

Its been my experience that thread etiquette is such that while we may have to read things from others that prompt irritation, its best to let them pass without comment. It helps to make the thread 'work'.

Hi Epinephrine,

<So I have resigned myself to take the good with the ridiculous and simply read in silent amusement when Niceguy predicts such things as that AMD will break $80 today despite the clear pressure that INTC and IBM were putting on AMD.>

A rational mind would say that AMD should have broken $80 today BASED on Intel's woes. Too bad for us the street isn't rational! :) And hey, we came pretty damn close, too! Several times. Anyway, good to here from you.
