Dear Thread,

21½ vs 15½

Congrats to Eli and his entire SNDK team!

I see a 40% Q-over-Q increase in earnings as being very significant and a 300% Y-over-Y increase as phenomenal. Also, we exceeded $100 million in quarterly revenues for the first time and it looks like a half-billion in annual revenues is "doable" for 2000.

We have clear bookings visibility.

We won a lawsuit.

We got Microsoft on board.

If we continue at this aggressive 40% sequential earnings growth rate per quarter the year will look like this...

21½ ===> 29½ ===> 40½ ===> 56½ ===> $1.46 annualized

a less aggressive 20% sequential growth rate yields...

21½ ===> 25½ ===> 30½ ===> 36½ ===> $1.12 annualized

Either way the outlook remains good.

I think earnings are very positive, but not the "blowout" 25½ EPS we all hoped for. There will be many more opportunities for a blowout in the future.
