the Dataquest articles. Interestingly they actually think DDR will find a niche in the graphics card space, not RDRAM. Any thoughts?

The limiting factor for DRDRAM in graphics is clearly cost. It would be insane to start a design that uses a memory type who's cost is way out of range (like DRDRAM is today.)

If the price comes down to near parity, more graphics houses will be inclined to use it. Some designs require multiple DRAM ports (like PS2) and DRDRAM makes increasing economic sense as the number of ports increases.
