And what would it convert into, considering that the company has issued all its authorized shares and hasn't sought shareholder approval to issue more.

Good question. Has the company ever authorized any preferred? I'm too lazy to check... But of course preferred wouldn't be "debt". Debentures would be "debt". Don't you have to tell people if you sell bonds???

People like, maybe, the "other experts"??
