Ted, from the Intel thread I very much liked this post. It summarizes a lot of reasons why I bought into AMD also. I didn't get in until $30 (and many times after) - but I've traded AMD for a couple of years. I decided to go long with ATHLON, not AMD particularly. As the story unfolds, it has turned out to be my biggest money maker ever. I've owned stocks up more than the 150% AMD is up, but I never had enough faith (maybe a bad choice of words) to put such a large % of my portfolio in (plus I make a lot more $ than I did a couple years ago!).

But as your last quote said, I also did not REALLY expect AMD to take off, as a matter of fact I had resigned the money. The greatest part is, I truly believe the best is yet to come.

Thanks, Dave
