George, good to see you stopping through. In the past I've offered some counterpoint to some of your views concerning Terabeam and Terayon at the gildertech.com site. Unfortunately, I seldom get anything in response over there, with the exception of some e-mails, occasionally. Consequently, I've not posted there for some time now. Granted, my participation at gildetech.com has also been frustrated, in part, by the difficulty I sometimes have getting onto that site, for it seems that it is always overly busy. I would appreciate your taking the time to read some of my observations about these two companies, and in particular how I regard some of your views concerning why you think that they are ascendants. Several posts on the topic begin at the following url:Message 13455860 You will note that most of my puzzlement, in the main, has to do with why you consider TERN's cablemodem approach ascendant, for the reasons you cited -- namely their S-CDMA component. Their recent acquisitions and their new strategic direction, in other words, are not the issues that I am questioning here, rather they have to do with the prolonging of the all-coaxial plant, in lieu of upgrading to a more fiber rich texture of outside wires. -------- On the other hand, and where TB is concerned, you will find that I am generally eager to see more of what they have to offer when the trials begin to broaden, and when more information concerning their transmission parameters becomes available. If you can spare the time to honor my request to clarify some of these issues that I've raised, I'd very much appreciate it. Thanking you in advance, and best regards, Frank Coluccio
