Speaking of NG...read this newsrelease on AEC...which led me to the story of Wiebo Ludwig and Richard Boonstra and the Canadian NG industry. Seems that there's a bit of a conflict shaping up with the increased exploitation of NG reserves in Canada. Apparently the big problem is sour gas and other emissions from flaring (which appears to have a technical fix that the E&P seem unwilling to apply) that are causing sickness and death around the wellhead. Members of the affected community are engaging in protests and direct action (read; bombing)against the NG fields. Remember that health concerns/environmental damage can be dangerous to your portfolio health. I'd avoid investing in AEC and the like until they can work this out to everyone's satisfaction.
