have thought this for a long time. Even if one takes solid indicator signals, there is the "art" of picking the right variables...

For me its TA, maybe a bit of GA (gut analysis) and a pinch of Funnys... but I should read the news a few days later...>g<

and of course there is SA (self analysis) ... an on going saga...
