DocStone.....those AOL hours are only for 1 month. Who cares whether its 100 or 500 hours. Its just a one month pitch to hook in some new copper wire internet folks on AOL.
Looks like ATHM is using that approach from the last quarters subscriber rate and revenues. They're learning!

Yah, but AOL will soon have RoadRunner - probably already influencing biz plans. AOL has been firing on all cylinders , putting together a long term plan. While ATHM was putting together a huge sum for Excite, AOL was most likely already in serious talks with Time Warner.

AOL's purchase of Time Warner has really raised the stakes. ATHM needs to merge with NBCi to keep playing the game.
